在电视剧《天下无贼》中，聂远出演手法高超的盗贼王薄，与女友王丽在江湖上并称“雌雄大盗”。 一向以阳光形象和正义感示人的聂远此番在戏中大胆突破，一进组就“改头换面”，把已经很短的板寸头剃成更有“痞”劲儿的大兵头，将行走江湖多年的大盗贼形象表现的淋漓尽致。剧中，王薄不仅经历了多场险象环生的殊死搏斗，而且深陷整个博物馆文物失窃案件之中，在操纵与被操纵、陷害与被陷害中挣扎，而在一个急功近利、拜金横行、丧失诚信的社会中，处于事件漩涡中间的他也即将面对被蒙上欺骗与误会的爱情与亲情。　　秦海璐在剧中饰演了一个反派角色——混迹江湖多年的古玩走私商人“小上海”，一副险恶的心肠加上一个隐瞒多年的秘密是一切阴谋的导火索。剧中的她与其说是整个文物盗窃案件的幕后黑手，不如说是一场名利争斗的背后推手。为了更好的表现这样一位颇有气势的商界女老板形象，剧组特意为她准备了价值不菲的道具...
